Pineapple Dream Cake

Beware! Unhealthy recipes ahead!

My Aunt made a delicious dessert for Thanksgiving and it’s taken me this long to get the recipe. She found it from a recipe in the mail sent from Dole.

Well… It’s not healthy, it’s not fat-free, and it will definitely make your pants tighter, but my husband has been gone all week and its time to remind him what home cooked meals taste like. (Even if I didn’t turn the stove or oven on… this time.)

Hey! I did use the “Lite” version!

Okay, so all you need are these ingredients.

1 loaf of pound cake, sliced and cubed
1 can pineapple undrained 20 oz
1 jello instant vanilla pudding mix 3.4 oz
16 oz cool whip

Mix the can of pineapple & the juice with the package of vanilla pudding.

Fold in the cool whip…

and then the cubed pound cake.

Refrigerate 30 min…. or 1 hour… if you can wait.

Yeah well, I didn’t stop there. I added some of this!

TOASTED, of course!

Munchkin had fun too.

Oh… and since the hubs is in town, don’t expect any healthy recipes on this blog for a few days. ;)

Have a great night!
