Glass Straws Review & Giveaway

If I’m not sipping a breakfast shake through a straw, I’m either sipping iced coffee throughout the day or sipping a relaxing cocktail at night.

I love straws. They make drinking fun (IMO).

I go through plastic straws like crazy and that’s not good for our environment, so I reached out to a company by the name of Glass Straws to see if I could get a few of their products to sample.

Glass Straws sent me MANY of their fun straws to facilitate this review.

I love these glass straws!  First of all, they are reusable!  I no longer have to keep buying bags of disposable straws.  I’ll be saving money! Glass straws are environmentally friendly as well!  I don’t want to even think about all those plastic straws we all use that wind up in landfills.  Using glass straws is also healthier!  Plastics can leach harmful chemicals into our bodies. I’m definitely not a fan of that being a cancer survivor and a Mom. I am now officially on the glass straw band wagon.

Glass Straws carries both standard (9.5 mm) and large (12 mm) sizes.
The standard size is great for coffee, water, juices, etc and the large size is for thicker drinks like milkshakes and smoothies.

They offer a variety of straw sizes in both the straight and bent varieties.

You can get them plain/clear…

or with colored dots or tips.

And check out this Glass Straws tidbit…

“Our straws are made of glass, and like even the highest quality glass products, will break if abused. With this being said; We are so confident that our drinking straws are rugged enough to handle daily life and use that we will replace any broken straw for free, for life. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. Simply contact us if you have broken straws (and save them to provide proof of breakage) and we will start the process.”

“It’s that easy, no questions asked, you will own your straws for life.”

HEY! It says so right here, read for yourself!

If you aren’t on the bandwagon with me yet… let me add that they are dishwasher and microwave safe, hypoallergenic, 100% non toxic, reusable, made from Borosilicate glass (also known as Pyrex), have a life warranty against breakage, and they are comfortable and fun to use.

Here’s another cool thing about Glass Straws… They are providing one sample set to one lucky reader’s choice of 9.5mm or 12mm, straight or bent. Yes, that means it’s GIVEAWAY TIME!

We use straws for smoothies with berries and coconut milk in this house. I’ve seen the metal ones but never the glass. Too cool and I guess it’s about time we stop using those old plastic land fill straws anyway!

I usually use straws for smoothies and milkshakes – anything thick enough to be messy to sip.
