To My Valentine, Yes… I Want Chocolate

Valentine’s is the most celebrated holiday around the world after New Year’s Day.

Huh… who knew? I sure didn’t. Charlie Brown and I have the same feeling about Valentine’s Day.

So, if I want flowers, I’ll most likely have to buy them myself.

And if I want something sweet, I’ll probably have to make it for myself as well.

I guess I’m okay (not really) that my Valentine (aka husband) doesn’t celebrate the holiday. Some guys just aren’t into it. But, I’ll be honest. I would love a beautiful bouquet of roses, a heart full of delicious chocolates, and/or a nice bottle of vino. Hint Hint!

What woman wouldn’t?

But, I know he loves me. He tells me so all the time. I get flowers occasionally, he works hard for our family and he would probably do anything I’d ask him to. Right Todd?

So however you and your Valentine choose to spend the holiday… I hope it’s lovely and full of sweet nothings.

Maybe we just need to tell the men in our lives what we want. So this post is dedicated to you, Todd, my sweet husband… and so are these chocolate covered strawberries dipped in toasted coconut (your favorite). Are you in the mood for Valentine’s yet?
