I made Overnight Oats again for breakfast.

This time I made them with coconut milk, oats, chia seeds, goji berries, banana, a Cherry Pie Larabar, and Sunbutter.
The oats were so filling so Todd ate what I couldn’t finish. I was kind of shocked that he tried them, let alone eat my leftovers. Impressive!

We are getting ready to spend the afternoon in Tarpon Springs today to walk around the sponge docks. But before we leave…

I have to tell you about my all time favorite beer.

Kona Wailua – I found it at Publix last night! ;) Could not believe my eyes! I even think I started jumping up and down in the middle of the beer section.

In July of 2010, my Mom took me ziplining at EcoSarfaris at Forever Florida in St. Cloud which is near Kissimmee. What an incredible time we had. First we started out our morning by going horseback riding through nature trails and a 4700 acre wildlife conservation area. It was absolutely beautiful and very relaxing. After our horse riding adventure we got ready to do some zipping through trees. We glided through the wetlands, went as high as 55 feet, and zipped to speeds up to 25 mph. That doesn’t seem like a fast speed until you are hanging from cables above a huge ass alligator. I don’t remember the exact length or weight of this beast but let’s just say it was freakin scary. Especially while dangling directly over the creature all while the tour guide was catapulting raw chicken at the alligator to make it launch into the air. Exhilarating I must say.

Once the ziplining was finished every blood vessel in my body was racing. I needed something to relax the adrenaline and endorphines that were going bizerk in my body. Thank goodness their cafe offered beer. They had a Hawaiian beer that I had not heard of before called Kona. We tried it and I’ve been missing it ever since.

Until last night…

This beer is sweet, fruity, light, smooth…everything I look for when drinking a cold one.

They have many flavors. Check em out here. On the inside of each cap, it teaches you a word in Hawaiian. Pretty nifty.

I’m blown away that Publix carries this flavor but I think I have to go stock up because it might just be seasonal for Summer.

Okay…See you later. A Tarpon Springs post is coming up tomorrow!

What’s your favorite beer? Have you ever gone horseback riding, ziplining, etc? Tell me your story.

  1. My favorite beer is Flying Dog’s Raging Bitch. (Terrible name, but a deliciously, awesome IPA). During the Fall, I like trying different Pumpkin brews. My fav pumpkin is Dogfish Head’s Punkin Ale. Yum! I’ll definitely try this beer that you speak of so highly!!!
