Oogie’s Gourmet Popcorn Review & Giveaway

Popcorn is one of Tyler’s (& Todd’s) favorite foods.

So I was pretty excited when the wonderful people at Oogie’s Gourmet Popcorn sent me a boxful of their all-natural and non-GMO popcorn to facilitate this review.

Oogie’s sent me Hatch Chili Con Queso, Sun-Dried Tomato & Parmesan, Cracked Pepper & Asiago, Smoked Gouda, White Cheddar, Spicy Chipotle & Lime, Movie Lovers Buttered Popcorn, & Kettle Corn.

I took a bag of the Smoked Gouda to Keel & Curley Winery to try with our friends.

This is my best friend’s husband, Jake, doing his best Vanna White to show off the popcorn. The Smoked Gouda popcorn had a unique taste and is well blended with cheddar cheese, romano cheese, and gouda cheese. It was very delicious and well liked by my friends.

The next bag I tried was the Kettle Corn.

It was unlike any other Kettle Corn that I’ve ever tasted. Oogie’s uses evaporated cane juice, sunflower oil, and sea salt to create this fair favorite. I gave my Mom some to try, and she immediately became a fan, asking where do we get more.

Another one of my Mom’s favorites is the Movie Lover’s Buttered Popcorn. This tastes just like the popcorn from the theater, but it’s much healthier for you.

I sent one of the bags that I was pretty excited to try to work with Todd, so I didn’t get a chance to taste it. He said the Spicy Chipotle & Lime was pretty tasty and addicting. (I’m pretty bummed that I didn’t get to try this flavor).

I also sent him to work with the White Cheddar. he said that it had a strong, sharp, and tangy flavor, yet it was light and airy.

Luckily, I kept this yummy bag for myself…

I fell in hatch chili heaven when I tried the Hatch Chili Con Queso popcorn. It had a cheesy kick with a little bite to it, but it wasn’t overly spicy.

Oogie’s has really outdone themselves with unique flavors.

Since I was still in the sharing mood, I sent my Dad, the Sun-Dried Tomato & Parmesan to try. He said that it’s 5 star stuff, fresh, savory, and full of flavor.

I just opened the Cracked Pepper & Asiago bag, and WOW! The flavors popped in my mouth and danced on my tongue. The combination of the cheese, pepper, and popcorn was a home run! Unbelievably delicious!

    OH! I would LOVE this! Popcorn is our favorite snack. I would love to try the kettlecorn and my husband would love any of these…especially the spicy one! Thank you for this opportunity!! I can almost taste it! LOL

    I subscribed to your email list, and am already a fan of Oogies on Facebook. Being in canada not all flavours are available, but from what i have tried, my favourite is smoked Gouda :)
