JD & Maple Salmon

I received a ton of products to review from Wholesome Sweetners yesterday, which led me to the presumption that I need to grab my apron and start cooking.

The delivery was a kick in the butt to get back in the kitchen, luckily I started feeling a little better today.

I had 2 pieces of salmon in the fridge and a bottle of JD that I haven’t finished (What? It was for my sore throat!).

Anyways… I figured that the Organic Blue Agave Maple Syrup would go nicely with the salmon and the JD.

I was right. It was the bomb-diggity!

Check out my masterpiece…

JD & Maple Salmon

1 lb salmon
1/4 cup Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey
1/4 cup maple syrup (I used this one)
2 TBS Worcestershire sauce
2 cloves minced garlic
salt & pepper

In a small bowl, mix the JD, syrup, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic together. Place the salmon in a baking dish and pour the mixture on top. Cover with a lid or foil and marinate in the fridge for 30 min – 1 hour. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place the salmon in the oven uncovered for 20 min.

ENJOY!
